Strictly speaking, Ectosy is not a booking platform. Guests express their interests to renters through public promotional modal (by clicking on your snippet) and they expect their prompt and professional email response. It is up to renter to seize the opportunity and transform their interest into reservation.

Distinction between interests and reservations is implemented in the entire application. There are separate calendars for interests and reservations and they can be presented separately in the Periods tab. Guests can be easily filtered by interests and reservations. User himself can also create interests (see Periods/Creating reservations/interests).

An interest can be transformed into a reservation by clicking on the 'Transfom interest to reservation' or 'Accept interest' buttons in the Views or Periods tab.

After you confirm transformation, the interest will become unconfirmed reservation (if the position is still available), you will be prompted to make 'Unconfirmed reservation' email if you have defined it in your email templates.
